Through the Texas 4-H Horse Show Youth Incentive Program, youth competing in 4-H horse show events at Texas state 4-H sanctioned horse shows can qualify to win scholarships from Hi-Pro Feeds. For youth to become eligible for scholarships, horses being shown by youth must have been fed Hi-Pro Feeds Premium Horse Feed Product(s) (Natural 14, Classic Gold, Race, Senior, Alfa-Pro Elite or Alfa-Pro) for a minimum of 30 days prior to show. A certified Hi-Pro Feeds Dealer must vouch for youth and the purchase of eligible feed product(s) listed above. To find a dealer near you go to our dealer locator.
Scholarship applicants will have to compete in at least one of the following events:
2 Year Old Futurity
3 Year Old Futurity
Geldings
Mares
Yearling Fillies
Yearling Geldings
Yearling Lunge Line
Junior and Senior:
Speed Horseman
Champion Roper
Hunter Flat Horseman
Over Fences Horseman
Stock Horseman
Judged Horseman
High Point winners will be eligible to receive a $500 scholarship, while Reserved High Point winners will be eligible for $250. To apply for scholarships, eligible youth must fill out and submit the scholarship form here.
