For baby quail, mash crumbles to the consistency of cornmeal to prevent choking. Continue to mash for two weeks. Fresh clean water is the most important nutrient. Provide fresh water at all times. It is not recommended that this feed be fed to laying birds because the calcium levels are below requirements for laying birds. Feed Hi-Pro 15% Layer Ration to laying hens.
