This feed contains added copper. Do not feed to sheep or related species.

Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Keep feed fresh in cool, dry storage. Do not use feed that is old, molded, or contaminated by insects.

Gestating sows can be fed every other day providing there is enough feeding space to ensure that every sow has an opportunity to consume their daily amount of feed.  For example, if you are feeding four pounds per head per day, then you would feed eight pounds per head every other day.

By not feeding the lactating sow all she can eat the day she farrows, and for the next several days; you might avoid spoiled udders caused by the sow producing a large quantity of milk, but the pigs not being large enough to consume it.

Constipation can be a problem for sows, especially around farrowing. To treat constipation, 1 to 2 tablespoons of Epsom Salts (magnesium sulfate) can be topdressed per feeding.
